Analysis results window

Genealogical Data Analysis displays the results of analyses performed on a GEDCOM file in the analysis results window.

To display this window :

1. Display the main window
2. Select a GEDCOM file then :
   • either use the “Analysis” menu / “Display results for this GEDCOM file” option;
   • or use the button on the banner;
   • right-click on the list and select the “Analyze results” option;

Histogram

The upper part of the window displays the scores obtained in the form of histograms. This histogram allows you to quickly see the progression of the score obtained for each analysis.

The display order of the histogram corresponds to the display order of the list (chronological or inverted).

Analysis list

The lower part of the window displays the list of analyses performed, with :

• date and time of analysis,
• the score obtained,
• the number of individuals, families, locations, sources, repositories and media identified in the GEDCOM file.

For each analysis you can :

• explore the results,
• search for duplicates (people entered more than once),
• search for ascendants,
• search for descendants.
• or carry out a search for isolated individuals (with no known parents, spouse or children).

Deleting an analysis

You can delete an analysis from a GEDCOM file.

To delete an analysis, you must :

1. select the GEDCOM file concerned in the main window;
2. then display the analysis results window for this GEDCOM file;
3. then right-click on the list of analyses and select the “Delete analysis” option.

Confirm the action and wait for the message indicating the end of deletion.
