Options – “Duplicate search” tab
This tab lets you modify how the application searches for duplicates in the database.
Tip
These choices can be modified when using the duplicate search.
| Option | Possible values | Effects | |
| Search for duplicates | Possible searches | Search performed (checked)/Not performed | The search will be performed or not performed. This preference can be changed when searching for duplicates. |
| Criteria | Period before and after dates (in years) | 0 à 999 | Allows a period of plus or minus the indicated number of years to be taken into account when comparing a date. For example, with a value of 20, the comparison is made 20 years before and 20 years after the date of the event. |
| Display searches without proposal | Yes (checked)/No | If checked, searches without duplicates are displayed. | |
| Show individuals without proposal | Yes (checked)/No | If checked, individuals for whom searches do not suggest duplicates are displayed. |
