We’re delighted to provide you with an update to our Genealogical Data Analysis application.
What’s new in this update
This update includes several new features, such as the ability to search for people who are not related to other people, and periodic data backup.
Search for persons not related to other persons
Genealogical Data Analysis v1.10 enables you to search for “isolated” persons, i.e. those not linked to other people in your genealogical data.
Three cases are checked:
- people with no known parents (or no known father or mother);
- people with no known union or spouse;
- people with no known descendants.
The search can be made for one or more of these cases, and responses can be filtered according to the person’s known or estimated age, in relation to the minimum and maximum ages defined for having children or creating a union. These values can be modified in the options.
Periodic data backup
You can now save your data on a regular basis. To do so, specify the frequency of backups in the options.
