Genealogical Data Analysis update available

We’re delighted to make available the latest version of our Genealogical Data Analysis application.

We continue to improve Genealogical Data Analysis

This update includes 20 new features and improvements.

First of all, the results explorer continues to be enriched: it now displays a family hierarchy in addition to the individual hierarchy. This allows you to view family members and their dates of formation more quickly.

Another new feature of the Data Explorer is the ability to produce a list of the information displayed, taking into account the filters you have applied– for example, only the errors identified. This list enables you to investigate the cause of errors and improve your data. The list can be produced in PDF, Word and Excel formats (the latter two can be used with Google or Open Office applications).

Finally, the application will memorize the language you select (French or English) and use it the next time you use the application.

We’ve taken your initial feedback into account and completely reworked the application installer. It now allows you to explicitly choose the language to be used during installation.

To download and install this new version

If you have already installed a previous version of Genealogical Data Analysis, the easiest way is touse the “Search for an update” option in the “?” menu.

Alternatively, if you have already downloaded the application from the website, you can download the new version by logging into your account and viewing your download history. By using the link to download the software again, you’ll get the new version.

Once you have downloaded the installation file (in your browser’s download directory), launch the installation. The data structure will be updated on the first run.
