Options – “Options” tab
This tab contains options concerning the application’s main parameters, such as operating language, application updates, directories used and backups.
This tab contains two sub-tabs.
Application” sub-tab
This sub-tab contains the application options.

| Enter 0 to check for updates at each startup. | |||

| Last search date | Indicates the date of the last search(value cannot be modified) | ||
| Search for beta version | Do not search for beta updates. Search for beta updates. | If the “Search for beta updates” option is checked, the application will suggest updates released before their official publication. Beta versions cannot be downloaded from the website. | |
| Geolocation | Google Map API key | Google Map API key value. Genealogical Data Analysis does not provide a Google Map API key. | The key to be indicated is the user’s key, obtained from the Google site. Genealogical Data Analysis uses this key to geolocate the places indicated in the genealogical data if the places are not already geolocated in your genealogy application. If the locations are already geolocated in your genealogy application, the geolocation of the locations is transmitted in the GEDCOM file. |
