Error: The e-mail address is already in use.
When confirming your shopping cart, a message may appear stating: “Error: The email address xxx@xxx.xxx is already in use.”
This message indicates that the address provided is already known, but that it is not linked to your account. There are two possible scenarios:
- The email address you entered is used by another user account. If you have already made a purchase, check that you have not already used this email address with another username. If you cannot remember your username, you can request a password reset.
- The email address provided was used for a purchase, but it has not been linked to your account. After your purchase, you should have received an email asking you to confirm your email address. If you no longer have this email, please contact our support team.
